Sharing my real estate investing journey in Canada

A little about me:

Real estate has been a journey of learning, problem solving, and growth. I started investing at a young age and have spent the years since building experience through buying properties, managing rentals, and taking on projects that challenged me to think differently.

I don't have every answer, but I believe the best investors stay curious, learn from every opportunity, and surround themselves with good people. My goal is to continue building projects that create long-term value and share the lessons along the way.

Development and construction

Every property has potential. Whether it's raw land, an existing home, or an overlooked opportunity, I enjoy finding creative ways to increase value through thoughtful planning, development, and long-term investment.

Management

Whether it's long-term rentals or short-term accommodations, we believe great management starts with great communication. Our goal is to provide clean, well-maintained homes and a positive experience for every tenant and guest.

Investing

Investing has been my passion since I was 16. Through years of experience, I've learned that long-term wealth is built through patience, continuous learning, and making thoughtful decisions,  not chasing quick wins.

About Cody Berghauser

I started investing at 16 years old using a practice trading account. I was still living at home, in high school, dreaming about building a life on my own terms.

One movie that had a big impact on me growing up was The Wolf of Wall Street. While it's definitely not a guide on how to live, it sparked my interest in business, investing, and thinking bigger. There are lessons to take away if you know what to look for.

After doing well with a demo account, I couldn't wait to start investing with real money when I turned 18. Let's just say... the market humbled me pretty quickly. Those early mistakes were expensive, but they became my tuition. Once I paid that tuition and found my rhythm, I began developing my own investment style and long-term approach.

Since then, I've continued learning through hands-on experience. From buying and managing rental properties to property development, construction, renovations, and operating both short-term and long-term rentals, I've had the opportunity to experience almost every side of real estate.

I bought my first home at 22 and my second at 24. Since then, I've continued to grow, take on new challenges, and learn something from every project.

Today, my goal is simple: build quality homes that people are proud to live in, create lasting value through thoughtful development, and share what I learn along the way. I believe great businesses put people first, and that's the standard I try to live by every day.

Projects that speak for themselves

Every project has its own story. Some have gone exactly as planned, while others have come with unexpected challenges and expensive lessons.

From subdivisions and new construction to rental properties and redevelopment, this is where I share the real journey.

The wins, the setbacks, and everything I've learned along the way.
